OH MY GOODNESS!!!!!!
I finally got the present I have been wanting for ever and ever and ever!!! A black, chunky, super-technology-esque, beyond professional…
21 Zoom Megapixel Coolpix Nikon CAMERA!!! in BLACK!!
This is the new start of this blog. As soon as I start really figuring out how to use my wonderful new gift from my very lovely parents I’ll be sure to put photographs on as many posts as possibly.
Lots of photographs.
So, get ready everybody. Jaimee’s Life Blog is about to get a major upgrade.
I’m going to be taking a few holiday breaks from blogging. Like, I just got back from my big Thanksgiving Break and soon I’ll be going on a Christmas Break. Just to let yous know.
While we’re on the subject, Happy (late) Thanksgiving! My holiday was nothing spactacular, but it was still fun! Unlike the rest of the country who had a week off of school, I had Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday off along with the weekend. Boy, have I been looking forward to that! It was lovely not having to get up and just being able to enjoy this nice weather and go to a park and not worry about if I’m going to get my homework done!
During the day, all everybody was doing was cooking and preparing for the feast that awaited us. Also, me and my brother decorated with hand and feet turkeys. I’m sure everyone’s seen a hand turkey, but feet ones are pretty weird looking.
For Thanksgiving dinner, we had three times as much stuffing as we thought would come out, potatoes my brother made all by himself, canned cranberry sauce, my mother’s coleslaw with an entire jar of mayonnaise (60 servings? More like 10!), my secret recipe candied sweet potatoes with a super-sweet sauce, and a big, fat scrumptious turkey that had spent the night brining so it would be nice and juicy and plump the next day.
I’m not the surest of how these awards work, but I think I was nominated for one…so here goes!
What I heard was,
1. Put the award in your post.
2. Thank who nominated you.
3. Say 7 things about yourself.
4. Nominate more people! (Some say 7 people, others say 3 or 5 or otherwise.)
Thank you, Jodi Ambrose for nominating me for the Beautiful Blogger Award!!!
I hereby nominate these three blogs for the Beautiful Blogger Award!
Anybody who is everybody should check out these blogs. They’re very colourful, indeed. Also, the subjects are quite interesting!
Finally, Seven things about yours truly:
1. I hate it when my toenails scratch against my sheets, so I always wear socks to bed.
2. My favorite color is black, but I never tell anyone because they’ll call me gothy.
3. One time when I was little, I accidently peed my mom’s car because I really had to go and I thought I could hold it. (EWWW!)
4. I want to have a ton of kids when I get older, like 4 or 5.
5. I love to stare at the people sitting in the car next to mine in traffic. I also like to wave at them like a weirdo.
6. I’m currently debating about getting my nose pierced in a few years.
7. My least favorite food is meat like beef and pork and chicken-Bleh!
Woo! Personally, I’m so glad that the U.S. Supreme Court up held the new Healthcare law! I think that this will help a ton of people in the United States.
This is how I found out;
I have been playing the clarinet ever since May of 2010, the beginning of band camp to prepare me for sixth grade. I think of myself as a very professional clarinet player. The clarinet has been so easy to play I believe that I’m ready to step it up somewhat. I’m going to buy myself a saxophone.
Since my parents are still making the payments for my clarinet, it’s obvious that they wouldn’t be the first people I’d ask to buy me a saxophone. Especially considering the act that they cost $1,200 and up. So I’m going to earn those $1,200 and get myself one, under the radar, of course.
The only thing blocking my view of the golden saxophone of my dreams is my dad. He loves to steal my hard-earned money and spend it on his own fancies. I’ve tried to hide it in several different spots, but he always seems to get at it somehow. I remember the one time I was so excited that I had raised $50 all by myself. The next day I went to go relish in it, and it was all gone with a note that said, “I’ll pay you back-Daddy”. Wow, was I mad!
Now I, for one, have no idea how I’m going to get this money. For two, even if I do get the money, I’ll have no idea where to even begin stashing it!
If you look on the side I’ve put made my own widget on dollartimes.com that shows how much I have saved for a saxophone.
This is a really good store for musicians and also where I plan to purchase my first saxophone:
And for more details:
I was not expecting anything for Valentine’s Day this year. But, I still gave out nearly 100 Dum Dums Lollipops to everybody that I know. In return I got a card from my bestie, Gina, a hug from my band bud, Haley, a bracelet from my math buddy, the other Haley, ironically a Dum Dums pop from Tabitha, and a piece of gum from this guy in my science class named Jared. I don’t think I’ve ever talked to him before, but Valentine’s Day is the day that I like to talk to everyone, which I think I’ve exceded at very well.
Afterwards, I went to my Girl Scout troop’s Valentine’s Day party. I felt really bad though because I’d run out of lollipops at school so I didn’t have anything to give anybody in the exchange. Sharon’s mom made her world-famous brownies and gave those out. I tried to eat one this morning, but it was, of course, way too sweet. As part of my Valentine’s routine mentioned earlier, I actually learned all of the Daisey’s names. They’re so cute! Also, I met Naomi’s (she’s one of the Cadette’s with me) sister and she looks just like her! Mrs. Heather also made these really tasty egg rolls. The last thing we did was The Cha Cha dance because someone’s dad made this really cool cd that was playing throughout the party.
